How do I register as a client?

The easiest way to contact us is by submiting an online enquiry, providing us with your name, contact details and a brief message.

Where is the service?

The service is available from either Shaw Therapy Centre or Rochdale Therapy Centre. We are also offering remote session either by telephone or video call.

Can I phone you?

Each of the centres we work from has a contact number and our service is listed as an option. In most instances, we may ask you to leave a message and we will call you back just as soon as we can.

What is the cost?

As a community service we work hard to ensure fees are as affordable as possible helping reduce the barrier to those looking for support. All counselling session are charged at a flat rate of £25.00

Are the therapists insured?

YES, all those working in the service are insured.

Are the therapists members of a governing body?

A requirement for working within the Community Counselling Service is membership of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Working within an ethical framework and to the highest of standards is at the heart of everything we do.

As a service we are committed to meeting the needs of our clients and as such we aim to match therapists and clients with a time that works best.

What happens once I have submitted an online enquiry??

All enquiries are managed by Wey Goodman (our clinical/project lead), Wey will contact you to match you with a suitable therapist..
