Trainee Therapist

Hi my name is Carly,

I am a trainee counsellor currently studying for my level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I offer a person-centred approach, that meaning, the session is focused on and led by the client. I aim to support a client in finding the answers they seek within themselves. I create a judgement free, safe environment for a client to be themselves, reflect and hopefully implement change in their own life.

I am a member of the BACP and follow their strict ethical guidelines. I have monthly supervision to continue my ongoing professional development and aim to take up any and all training that will support me to be the best counsellor I can be.

I have a background in hairdressing and teaching which has offered me experience of supporting others. My own experience of counselling was a catalyst for me to change careers, and I am passionate about helping others in my new role.
